It’s my Birthday – Beach Session Giveaway!

My birthday is coming up, which means spring has to be just around the corner.  The weather has slowly been improving (okay besides that snow recently…) and I have a new camera that is just begging for more beach time!  SO because it’s my birthday, I’m celebrating by giving away a Beach Session!  Bring your other half, your family, your dog, your baby belly, just you?  It’s your choice!  (But sorry, weddings and family reunion sessions are not eligible)

This giveaway is open to anyone who wants to come to the beach, and can be scheduled anytime in 2012!  If you’d rather skip the beach, we can go elsewhere, but the session must take place within Lincoln City. :)

That’s a pretty amazing prize!  The catch is that we need to reach at least 100 entries before I will draw a winner, so be sure to share far and wide!

  4. We are planning a trip to the Oregon Coast in May and will be staying in Lincoln City for part of our trip. It’s been a few years since we have had a family vacation, not to mention I haven’t been to the coast since before my daughter was born. Since planning our vacation all I have thought about is how amazing it would be to have family pictures taken on the beach. If we win this photography session it would be us and our daughter who is 4. Crossing our fingers we win this, it would be an amazing opportunity. -Thank you!

  27. So this is my second chance at writing this passage since the first attempt was thwarted by dropped internet.
    My name is Kaitlyn Winokur. The people I would like to bring with me for this hopeful attempt at winning would be my family. I’d like to tell you why, however, so you have a little back story.
    Growing up we always had a family photo, or at least until I was around 12. So to fill you in we’re talking 15 years without a family picture. This in part was due to a season of growing separation between my family members. The next year my brother would refuse to take them, my mother never really liked her smile because she had crooked teeth so she finally gave up the fight for them and my father and I just played along with what everyone else wanted. Since those days my mother and younger brother have gotten braces. My mother now “shines” in photos and smiles like she means it. This has brought about the topic of getting family pictures all over again if you couldn’t guess. My older brother still hates his smile but has come back to a sense of real appreciation for his family and my father and I have grown increasingly nostalgic for the better days. The problem with this, however, is that a little over a year ago my parents house caught fire. The pictures weren’t burnt, but they were drowned by the “helpful” firemen putting it out. Needless to say some were dried out properly and others will be fused together only to be found in my memory. Since we finally have a whole family that wants a fresh start I would really love to be able to hang the family portrait in their new living room now that the house is done. It’s a new season, a new home, and the start of many new pictures that this time won’t have a 15 year break in between.

  31. I’m Don Strother. I am and educator and loving father and husband. My wife and I are very busy with our schedules and our 6 year old and 20 month old girls. We are also due to have our next child in May! I have always enjoyed pictures and know how important it is to capture the moment of children’s lives-they grow up so quickly. One thing I regret is our busy schedules and lack of committing to take family photos. We haven’t even developed our wedding photos!!! We have a planned vacation to Lincoln City for spring break, and yesterday I put my foot down and told my wife that we will be getting family pictures at the beach! Last night I looked for photographers, and this afternoon I am calling to schedule an appointment. That is when I came across your birthday special!

  35. We are having a family reunion in July and while looking for a photographer to capture our family of 29 (parents, siblings and spouses, and children), I found Aleina. I ready through the web site, looked at her material, and wished she lived near Hillsboro, OR where I live. We will definitely use Aleina, if she is available (even if we don’t win the contest).

  50. my husband and i went to lincoln city the first weekend we met, the first weekend i ever came to Oregon. this summer is our 5-year anniversary of our wedding 7/7/07. we would have our photos taken together.
